UN 2.0 is the UN Secretary-General's vision of a modernized United Nations system - deliverying better results and greater impact for the SDGs. At its core, UN 2.0 is set out to build new expertise and skills in data, digital innovation, behavioural science, and foresight - to leverage across our programmes. At the same time, we recognize the need to foster a dynamic, diverse, and curious organisational culture where these new skills can thrive.

UN 2.0 Week is an annual week-long series of virtual events focused on innovations in the UN system and the new tools and methods we need to effectively work together towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Expect thought-provoking sessions and best-practice sharing dialogues from teams and leaders both from inside the UN system and thought leaders across the globe.

Last year, our virtual UN 2.0 Week 2025 brought together UN colleagues and participants from around the world. More than 25,000 people joined us for the event. As we gear up for UN 2.0 Week 2026, we look forward to building on that momentum and welcoming participants from within and outside the UN system.

Yes! As long as you are or you are partnering wiht a UN system team: Join us and organize local virtual or in-person events during UN 2.0 Week. All community events are scheduled for Friday, 19 June and set out to spark connection, collaboration and coalition-building in our communities.

UN 2.0 Week is open to colleagues across the UN system and external participants around the world through its global virtual programme. Participation is always free of charge. You can take part by joining online sessions and following the latest updates as the programme is announced.
